Labor Day 2017

As 100+ degree temperatures decrease, backyard barbecues and extended-family picnics increase over Labor Day weekend, marking the end of the season. Labor Day also means more cars and SUV’s on the road, as people venture out for one more quick vacation or celebration. More cars and SUV’s on the road increases the likelihood of crashes—especially when factoring in Labor Day celebrations. Unfortunately, too many partygoers will forgo a safe ride home and choose to drive after drinking, putting themselves and others at risk. 2Pass Defensive Driving wants to make sure this busy travel period is a safe one, which is why we’re partnering with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nationwide on the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign from August 16 through September 4, 2017, to help put a stop to alcohol-impaired driving.

NHTSA’s new SaferRide app will help keep drunk drivers off our roads by allowing users to identify their location and call a taxi or friend to pick them up.
